Strika and Roadbuster

MMCs Dicamus and Titanika as Roadbuster and Strika

Not the first two characters I would peg as mould mates.  Roadbuster, the super popular tank of a guy from fan favourites The Wreckers has had a few representations in the past, but this time I think he has a toy that absolutely catches the character.  But to take that and move in to a kind of IDW take on a Beast Machines bot?  Odd.  Odd, but so smart!  With her reappearance in the comics on the metrotitan Carcer as a no nonsense enforcer she has been brought back to the front of old minds and captured new minds alike.  This gal don’t mess!

What’s not love about this mould? It’s beefy, it’s powerful, and it leaves you in no doubt that either character means business.  While the Roadbuster variant has a lovely gloss finish on his chest and is a good looking bot, the brown, orange, and green leave him eating the dust of the glorious purple and gold Strika brings to the table.  With a super simple transformation that can be done in just a couple of minutes It’s a toy that just begs to be played with.

The only thing more I could want from this is a RiD Strongarm repaint which would knock my socks off!
